Consumers who produce renewable energy in capacities of less than 100 kW will be able to deliver the energy to the electricity network, and their bill will be offset by the value of the energy they deliver.
More precisely, physical persons using a green energy system will be able to sell electricity in the distribution network.
Everything, according to a draft order of the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) that could enter into force this spring, according to ANRE’s vice president, Zoltan Nagy-Bege.
“The sale price of the electricity produced and delivered in the electricity networks by natural persons who own power plants producing electricity from renewable energy sources with installed electrical power below 100 kW to the concessionaire distribution operators in order to cover their own technological consumption in electrical networks is the estimated average price of active electricity to cover own technological consumption in the electrical networks to which the respective power plants are connected, established by ANRE by order approving the specific tariffs for the electricity distribution service and the price for reactive electricity , for each concessionaire distribution operator’, it is stated in the draft order.
According to him, ‘the natural persons who sell the electricity produced and delivered in the electricity networks from the power plants producing electricity from renewable energy sources with installed electrical powers below 100 kW, under the conditions of art. 1 are exempt from paying the imbalances generated’.
